Redbarn Pet Products is pleased to announce that we will be relocating our manufacturing operations from our current plant in Long Beach, California to a state of the art, former USDA approved, 200,000 square foot facility in Great Bend, Kansas.

The new facility will allow us to improve our production capabilities to better serve you, our loyal customers. This plant has many unique features, which will benefit our product line and mutual future growth. Some of these features include a sterile air handling system for the packaging rooms that will meet Class 100,000 standards, a state of the art industrial wastewater treatment system and our own underground water wells. The state of Kansas’ central location will allow us to improve transit times and increase raw material sourcing which will ultimately increase production.

This move has already begun and is scheduled for completion by mid April. Our plan is to continue to ship from our Long Beach facility until April 4, 2010. Effective April 5, 2010, all shipping will originate from Great Bend, Kansas.

While the entire Redbarn team has been working tirelessly for a seamless transition, we anticipate there may be some unforeseen issues that could temporarily affect production and shipping. We ask that you work with us during this transition period and be assured that we will do everything in our power to minimize any inconvenience to our customers.
