Dear Redbarn,
Count me in as a believer. I have two *extremely* picky dogs and over the years have tried virtually every premium food out there, as well as feeding raw, only to see the meals sit practically untouched in their dishes time and time again. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I ordered a case of Red Barn recently, and from the first bite both dogs have eaten ravenously! I can't tell you how different it is to see them getting so excited about food after all the headaches we've had up till now. My dogs like the Red Barn so much I can actually use it as bait. Thanks for a great product-- I'll definitely be ordering more.

Dear Redbarn,
I finally decided to take some time out to write about Red Barn and how well my dogs are doing on it. I raise Miniature Bull Terriers and have tried every major brand of dog food over the years--never with any great difference showing in my dogs appetites or general well-being. Not so with Red Barn! All eight of them eat their meals with relish and their coats have never been thicker or shinier! My foundation bitch is nine years old now and has never looked so good, not even in her youth when she was being shown. In fact, I'm planning on taking her to Savannah this year to show her as a veteran, as they have not only a veteran's class, but a veteran's group--I'll let you know how she does.
I think one of the best things about feeding Red Barn is knowing how much the dogs look forward to eating. No more putting the food down and hoping they eat it, no more doleful looks from the dogs asking "Is that the best you dan do?" Now by the time I've fed the last dog, I can go back and pick up the bowls from those fed first--all clean platers too! Nothing makes a Mom happier than having her "kids" love her cooking! (I let them think I've slaved over a hot stove all day just for them.)
Thanks again for making this great food available to us. You can count on me to keep spreading the good word!

Dear Redbarn,
Our dog Ben was one of America's top showdogs. When he came from from his handler he was itching constantly, chewing his feet, ears red and hot with scabs all over his forehead. His energy level was sluggish. Worse yet, he was having episodes of bloody urine which was diagnosed as bladders stones owing to improper diet and longterm bladder infections from being on the road no doubt.
In desperation I researched the net extensively and finally called your rep. I was told NEVER to feed a dog with stones any food containing LIVER, but your rep changed my mind. I have been feeding the lamb and rice version now for about six months. In the first week the itching stopped and within a month all symptoms subsided. He has a gorgeous coat, vitality of a pup and strength of an ox now. He has never shown a sign of the bladder trouble or urinating blood since and has been in for multiple xrays and checkups. I am so pleased!
Ben HATED the vet prescribed diet for stones and if a dog won't eat, he won't thrive. He eats this food consistently and my other dogs scarf any of his leftovers down. I think I am going to feed this to all my dogs regularly (if I can afford it!)

Dear Redbarn,
It took me a long while to get on the Red Barn bandwagon. I'm really hooked (or should I say Winston and Ashleigh are). Last week I was at the National (ECS) and it really travels well. A cooler, water and Red Barn was all I needed. Also, what you said about the clean teeth is so true. Winston, now a veteran, has super clean teeth. And they love the bones. Thanks loads and I'll see you in Tampa for another case.

Dear Redbarn,
The food seems to be working well. Most amazing to me is that Redbarn has removed almost all the tartar buildup on all of the dogs eating Redbarn, especially on my Norwich (always a HUGE problem with my Norwich as I rarely find the time to scrape all their teeth every week or two).
I'm also very pleased with the body condition it seems to be putting on the dogs. The bodies have better tone with greater muscle mass even though they are getting the same amount of exercise. Coats are extremely shiny. Even the dogs that are blowing coat have very shiny coats coming in.
The ravenous Labradors who always acted like they were starving to death now contain themselves better. They still have excellent appetites, but don't act frenzied and out of control whenever they think food is involved.
The dogs that were extremely itchy have finally stopped scratching themselves and rubbing up against things. It was a gradual decline that finally subsided over a period of about 7 or 8 weeks.
The Pyrenees is eating a lot more consistently, and her coat is coming in beautifully, although her weight gain has been slow.
Overall, the dogs are looking, feeling, and acting much healthier.

Dear Redbarn,
My Boxer who is now 2 1/2 years old and was known as Mr. wiggles as a pup but lost the excitement at feeding time, and had a problem maintaining his body weight is now on RedBarn dog food and once again we call him Mr. Wiggles. (he sometimes falls over he wiggles so hard from enjoyment) He is now doing fantastic and has not lost any of the weight put on by the product line and is now maintaining the perfect body weight for his size and age. Thank you so much RedBarn, I order my rolls of food and treats through her store in Severna Park, MD by calling 877-647-0339 and I always get very friendly service and quick deliveries of all products from the redbarn line. ( 2 THUMBS UP )
P.S. My Son asked me to add this note. He loves the product as well, stating that the stool from eating RedBarn after less than 48 hours dries up and blows away in the wind. Less Pooper Scooper work for him and it adds to the beauty of the lawn. Fertilizer and dog food in 1. Who would have thought?
Michael Kingsborough Sr., Boxer Owner, Baltimore, MD.
Dear Redbarn,
I just started feeding the roll a week ago, but a few things have happened already: my 'whatever' picky eater is stealing the roll off of the counter as I am cutting it! He also went into the trash can after the wrapper (not thanking you for that, haha!) The stools have indeed reduced in quantity, color is dark and stool firm and no gassy dogs (THANK YOU)!!
Meal time no longer takes me an hour or so including clean up of the dishes, no more mixing and then throwing something away or trying to save it for the next meal.
Measuring and cutting the Roll and feeding takes about 15 minutes. And my bowl of dry food sitting out in case they were still hungry, has not been touched.
Bad breath (on all) and the one 'recycler' issue has been eliminated! What a blessing!! Thank you again and again!!

Dear Redbarn,
Red Barn has really saved my little 4 1/2 year old Yorkie, Cuddles, a lot of grief. Ever since she came to live with us as a 9wk old puppy, she has vomited and/or had diarrhea at least every third day if not every other day! It was not unusual for Cuddles to refuse all food at least 3 days per week, often times even more! She scratched and itched constantly. to the point that I was upset with my flea program for not working properly as stated on the package! What misery...
When I suggested allergies to one veterinarian I took her to, he sent me home with a 5lb bag of powdered "doggie food". Cuddles wouldn't even look at it, let alone taste it! It looked like paste when you mixed it with water according to the instructions...
I read any Holistic books on animal/dog care I could get my hands on. I, myself have asthma and allergies so this is what I thought Cuddles was dealing with, too. One book in particular caught my attention. It stated that the corn and other grains were not a natural part of a canine's diet and were the probable culprit in allergy problems with our pet dogs.
From that point on, I searched for a dog food that didn't list corn as the first ingredient. I was not able to find a completely grain free food! But even this little bit helped.
Matter of fact, my sister-in-law was taking her dog (Cocker Spaniel) to Indiana University to try to help Corey with his allergies. When she tried my method, her dog improved also. Just wait till I tell her about Red Barn!!
A friend of mine, who also loves her dogs very much, gave me a roll of your dog food as a Christmas gift this year. I fed it to Cuddles and she hasn't refused food, itched, vomited or had diarrhea now since 12/25/2000 and this is February already!
How can Cuddles and I thank you good folks enough for making our lives so much more enjoyable? I am in tears when I think of the misery this sweet little "girl" has gone through during her first 4 1/2 years of her life!
Thank you Red Barn!! I owe you so much!!
By the way, how can I order more Red Barn? Or is there a store in my area that handles your product? Or do you have a complete catalog? Please let me know ASAP. Wish your web site was finished so I could order right now this minute!

Dear Redbarn,
Thank you very much for your prompt and informative reply. I agree that I must learn more about dog nutrition. That's what I was attempting to do by writing you, and it paid off. Your letter impressed me very much. I think Redbarn is a fabulous product. My breeder says she's never had a dog that didn't like it, and you can't say that about many dog foods...
For the two weeks my Maltese has been on Redbarn she has had no signs of colitis. After reading your letter, I don't believe I need to give her anymore fiber. That's really what I was trying to find out. If you've feed your 8 dogs only Redbarn and they don't have colitis or diarrhea problems, then say no more. That's good enough for me. Another plus I've found for Redbarn is how easy it is to travel with. I'm currently with a national touring company and Redbarn is the easiest and cleanest food I've ever traveled with.
Thanks again for your reply. It was appreciated.

Dear Redbarn,
I have a very loving, very pretty white standard poodle who, after living most of two and half years as a show dog on premium dry dog food with an occasional egg or cottage cheese on top, came to me as a pet. A wonderful pet but a really picky one. Bit by bit over the six months I have had her, she has decided NOT to include in her diet "regular" dog food, premium dog food (canned or dry) cottage cheese, ground meat (raw or cooked), dog biscuits, eggs, soup bones or almost anything else I have tried to feed her. ......except Red Barn. She loves for me to cut it into half inch to one inch squares which she takes one by one back to her bed and carefully chews with relish. I didn't want it to be like this but I guess its the way it will be.
I'm calling you later to order a case...

Dear Redbarn,
Just a little follow up note on my German Shepherd show dog that has been on your food for many months, now. I had written to you when I first introduced Red Barn to him, as he truly loved the Red Barn- amazing as he was never an "eater". He used to tire of a food after just a month or so, and would lose all interest. Not so with the Red Barn- after all this time, he still waits eagerly for his meals. I do switch flavors for variety, and he can go from one flavor to the other with out any digestive problems. Simply put - he looks AWESOME and his coat is shiny like a mirror! :) He will be doing the round of spring shows, looking his finest! Thank you, Red Barn!

Dear Redbarn,
Just wanted to send you this letter to thank you for introducing Red Barn dog food to my Husband at our dog show in Salisbury NC. As you know we had a Shar-Pei that had cancer and was not eating. He brought home a roll and she loved it. We have been feeding this to all 9 of our dogs now. Shar-Pei, Wire fox Terriers and Jack Russell Terrier. All are doing well and love it. Teeth are clean and coats look great.
We also wanted to let you know that Megan [the Shar-Pei with cancer] pasted away last week. We know that we would have lost her 5 months ago from not eating if you had not talked to my husband about this food.
Everyone should listen to them about this food and I know we have all heard about how good other dog foods are but this food is great. I was even cooking meat and chicken for my dogs because they just got tired of the other foods. I did what I could to get them to eat. Everyone told me that it was because it was to hot or it was raining or something because they would not eat, well let me tell you, they take the bowls out of my hand when it is feeding time. After 5 months they still love it. Thanks so much...

Dear Redbarn,
I am so glad I have found Red Barn. I have 5 Papillons and currently showing 2. All the dogs love Red Barn Chicken and Beef, I get a split case. My old dog, 11 years, had eye stains all his life and even my Mother noticed how much his eyes have improved and he no longer has the tear stains on his face. The puppy is also looking very good, her coat is growing and her white is white and her black has a very nice shine. Meal time around here is now fun, I put the food down and only a few minutes later I can pick up all the bowls and they are clean. Thank you for Red Barn, I am very happy with this product and the condition of all my Paps.

Dear Redbarn,
Just a little note to let you know how happy we have been with the RedBarn Premium Dog Food. Our 7-year-old Springer had a horrible reaction to his dry lamb and rice diet. He broke out in sores all over h is body, which turned into scaly spots from which he lost his coat. He looked terrible and I was ashamed to take him out in public to the exhibitions, which we had been doing with our dog club. He was constantly scratching and chewing. He was tested with many allergies , except beef.
I have been feeding home RedBarn since the spring of 1999 and his allergies have just about disappeared. His skin is back to normal and his coat is once again full and lustrous.
Thank you for all your help. And oh, by the way I started feeding his 10-year-old mother RedBarn and she is acting like a puppy again - all lively and alert.
Valerie Hayrl, Naples, FL
Dear Redbarn,
I wanted you to know how pleased I am with the Redbarn Premium dog food. I first tried Redbarn February 1999 to resolve a problem I was having with a young Miniature Schnauzer I had at a show. She kept soiling her crate at night if not let out at 2 a.m. The first night after feeding her redbarn she did not soil her crate and hasn't since. I concluded that she wasn't utilizing the premium kibble I was feeding. I then started to feed Redbarn to all my dogs. The pooper scooper ordeal for 10 Min. Schnauzers diminished from 3 or 4 scooper down to 1/2 scooper per day. My eleven yr. old Min. Schnauzer pet shop rescue that had the worst skin and no furnishings now has nice furnishings and clear skin and runs around like a puppy. A friend has a seven year old schnauzer that had surgery for bladder stones and was feeding prescription diet has been feeding Redbarn since march 1999. The dog now has furnishings on her legs like never before and now has vigor and life. Her owner says she now drinks water and has had no reoccurrence of stones. The dogs urine is clear as the water they drink because of the lack of additives and artificial colors in the food. I just can't say enough, Redbarn is terrific! Thanks for introducing it to me!

Dear Redbarn,
My German Shepherd show dog now waits by his bowl for his dinner... I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it with my own eyes... He is a picky eater, or shall I say he WAS a picky eater.. Great idea about putting the Red Barn through the food processor, as yes, he was picking it out of his food and leaving the kibble... Have to hand it to him, he still does try to pick it out. When he sees the Red Barn Roll come out, he starts his happy dance.

Dear Redbarn,
Another happy customer. My Havanese has been a problem eater since a pup. He is now three and on Red Barn and loving every bite. Likes it so much I can use it for bait in agility. Thanks!

Dear Redbarn,
I wanted to take a moment to let you know how much my Basset Hound, Cody loves his Red Barn! Cody has always been a picky eater, but did OK 'till we started doing agility. His previous diet didn't give him the energy & stamina he needed and no matter what we tried he wasn't gaining any muscle. After meeting the Red Barn reps in Tampa we decided to give the product a try. Cody loves it! He has lost body fat while gaining muscle & endurance. He eats his food with gusto & cleans his bowl every meal. to make it even better, Cody has just completed his AG-I agility title in only two trials! Not bad for a Basset Hound! Thanks Red Barn!

Dear Redbarn,
I wanted to thank ya'll for making this food. I own and show boxers & schipperkes. One of my schips is a very picky eater. She hated dry food. So per the breeder, I started her on Red Barn only and with in a week she had gained weight. We started the full time red barn in March of 2001. She had been getting it sprinkled on her food before this. We brought her back out in August and she finished in 2 weekends in style! The first weekend she got her majors a 5 & 4 pointer. Then the second weekend she finished and got a group 3!! She is my baby! She is also a puppy group winner. Chime is now taking time off to mature for her specials career in a couple of yrs. Thanks for making something that she actually eat! I have been sold on this product & always will be. Thanks!

Dear Redbarn,
Red Barn where have you been all our lives!! We discovered Red Barn in March 2001 at the Louisville dog show. My girl, Daisy, is a white miniature bull terrier who has had allergy problems since the day she joined our family.
For the first 5 1/2 years of Daisy's life, she, my husband and I were MISERABLE. "Itchy" was her middle name. She just couldn't stop scratching. Within her first year we discovered she was allergic to corn, wheat and beef along with grass and other inhalant allergens. Searching for foods that she cold eat and WOULD eat was one of the toughest jobs I had ever encountered. I even had to find a food lower in protein (because of the breeds kidney problems) and that made a tough job even tougher.
A friend, Deb Hall, and I were at the Louisville show and stumbled into the Red Barn distributor. She needed bait for her Bully boy who was not to thrilled at the aspect of being at the show. He really loved the food so we bought some to give it a try. Deb left with a case and I carried out 3 Lamb and Rice rolls. Deb fed the Red Barn to both of her standard bull terriers and had great results and I chose to mix it in with Daisy's food. Deb was having greater success in feeding only Red Barn, so I decided to do the same for Daisy. Since July 2001 Daisy has been eating only Lamb and Rice Red Barn and her "Itchy Gritchies" and scratching herself raw are no longer an issue. My picky eater now also looks forward to the dinner placed in her doggie bowl. And her coat...she's never had such a shiny, soft and thick coat. She even has individual hairs that sparkle like Christmas tinsel!!! My little girl is so beautiful.
Daisy, Larry and Zoe thank you for the bottom of their BT hearts for giving them such yummy food to eat and we humans thank you for providing our "kids" with a nutritous, enjoyable and easy to handle food.
Carol Feher
Dear Redbarn,
I wrote some time ago about how happy two of my dogs (formerly very reluctant eaters and difficult keepers, especially while traveling) were with Red Barn. I've just ordered another large case, and can report that since last fall both dogs have gained weight and their coats are lovely. Their overall condition and bloom is excellent. I feel good about the ingredients in Red Barn (and believe me, I'm a label-reader), and I also really appreciate how convenient it is to use and travel with. I'd like to tell anyone that may be hesitant to try Red Barn due to the price that it's well worth the money, and in fact has worked out to be comparable pricewise to other premium brands out there since I can feed less volume-wise.
Robyn Futcher
Dear Redbarn,
I have never had a dog food that my dogs would actually got to their bowls and eat as soon as the food is set down. With Red Barn ; my picky eaters eat their food every day as soon as it is set on the floor. Thank you for such a good products that the dogs love to eat.
Jean Fawley
Dear Redbarn,
We found your distributor at a dog show we attended in Spartanburg, SC and decided we would try your product on our young Newfoundland. She'd been a picky eater, was underweight and her coat was not like it should have been. She has been on your product for just a little over a month now and the results are fabulous. She's no longer a finicky eater - we rotate between the beef and chicken - she's finally filling out, and her coat is coming in thick and very shiny. When people ask what we've done 'differently' we tell them Red Barn. It's an excellent product!
Deborah Crowl
Dear Redbarn,
Have been doing Redbarn for about 18mos now for the show dogs & the "ancient ones". DEFINITELY LESS STOOLS PRODUCED, DEFINITELY TOTAL LACK OF DANDER ON OUR BLACKS & TRI'S..and we are noticing DEFINITE inhibition of tartar build up in these dogs. In fact, in our 13 1/2 year old, the teeth she has remaining :) have become nearly tartar free! I have seen references to this phenomenon in the testimonials, but nothing on the site OFFICIALLY about what it is with the RB food that has this wondrous effect on dental health - please enlighten us! We are now in the process of switching all the dogs over to the RB specifically due to this phenomenon. We recommend the food to all our puppy buyers and friends, and are beginning to think we should join the RB distributors 'club'! We just can't say enough about the various good changes we have noticed. Also, we exhibit internationally at FCI shows, and recently took two black basenjis to the Eur Asian championships in Moscow. The Swiss judge could NOT get over the fantastic coats on these two dogs. Said she'd NEVER seen such silky and flake-free (dander) coats on ANY black dogs, let alone basenjis. I told her our 'secret' was RedBarn dog food. We look forward to learning how/why the RB has such a positive effect on canine teeth! Basenjis are notorious for tartar buildup!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Dear Redbarn,
Hello, I just wanted to say thank you very much! After talking with your reps. at the Raliegh shows we switched our "very picky" Bouvier to Red Barn. We had tried verious other foods with no luck, she just never would but on good weight and it was a struggle to get her to eat. But she LOVES the Red Barn! She now has good weight and her coat looks great. We also have our 2 Shar-pei and a senior corgi on Red Barn, good coats and weight and white teeth. We just love your product. Your reps were very informative and very nice to talk with!! Keep up the good work...

Dear Redbarn,
Thanks Lena and the whole gang! You guys have been wonderful during the two year period I've been buying from you. I adopted a severely underweight yellow lab from the rescue foundation two and a half years ago. Although "Bronte" was about 8 months old - she showed very little interest in food. I tried all kinds of things - boneless chicken, bacon, cottage cheese, eggs in addition to all kinds of commercially available dog food. Eventually, a fellow dog-lover told me about Red Barn products and was kind enough to give me half a roll! Well, needless to say, Bronte has been eating Red Barn ever since - and has developed into a beautiful dog at optimum weight. I just wanted to send you a quick note to say, "thank you for distributing such a high-quality product!"
Mike Wardrop & Bronte
Dear Redbarn,
I always enjoy talking to the Federmans when I purchase my Redbarn Dog Food at the local shows. Little did I know that I would be taking in a Rescue from the local Animal Shelter and needing a lot more food. Three cases arrived the next day!
The website makes it easy to order and the service is wonderful. In less than two weeks, the horrible condition of this Rescue Airedale has turned around due to a great diet and lots of TLC.

Dear Redbarn,
I recently had one of my girls develop gangrene mastitis after weaning a litter of puppies. She became septic and require intense treatment to survive. When I was finally able to get her to the point where she would even think of being able to chew any food at all..I offered her Red Barn beef roll which was the only food she would eat. I credit this source of protein with her speedy recovery. I was totally amazed and pleased with her progress. I don't feel she would have healed the way she did with any other food product. Thank you Red Barn !
